One house for sale. Sitting tenants (wife, dog). Not very well kept. Location not ideal. In need of minor updating.
£250k no offers. First to see will be done.
You could buy your Fezza, put a deposit down on a studio flat and spend the next 10 years knee deep in clunge....!£250k no offers. First to see will be done.

Sorry, but with the roof down that looks all wrong. The rear quarters and too heavy, the front too low and the screen looks massive. Add the fact that the rear cowlings do not line up with the seats means it looks a mess from behind.
I'v said it before and I will say it again, its a great drivers car, I have done many miles in one both on the track and the street, but from a design point of view it looks like the front half and the back half were designed by two different people, it just does not mesh.
I was never a fan of the coupe but it looks a lot better than that with its roof down

If I had the money, I wouldn't be sitting here typing, I'd be at the dealership, chequebook in hand.
The styling is almost perfect: I think the rear end would have been better with 2 circular light clusters on each side (to avoid the "Sid" comments ) but that's about it IMO.
I would also prefer the Spyder over the coupe so I could hear that engine better and would gladly trade the last tenth of performance and handling which may(?) be lost - still good enough for me!
I had a test-drive of the 12c this morning. According to the salesperson they are also working on a spider version with folding hard-top - although won't appear for around 3 years so the 458 Spider is going to be available much quicker.
I have to add that the 12c was fantastic. First car I've driven that felt close in acceleration to a superbike (although it still feels much more exciting giving a superbike the full beans). The dealer was with me so I couldn't go completely mad (plus living in Switzerland means you have to be very careful when and where you give it some gas). Still, the handling was very good. Noise was lovely. Interior was okay although quality of the silver-painted plastics not so good.
I haven't driven the 458 so can't make a comparison. On its own the 12c is superb. Personally I'd take one over a 458 (although I'd fully understand and appreciate anyone taking the 458 instead).
Having said that, the car is way too fast for Switzerland. My licence and liberty would be at risk if I bought one. That really, really, really, really p***** me off. When I was an audit junior many years back we had our Xmas party at (if I remember correctly) the Dorchester. I remember slipping out for a breather and ended up gawping at the F1 in the show room on Park Lane. Seemed like an impossible dream. Now I could afford to buy the 12c but don't dare because I'd end up in serious trouble or would be incredibly frustrated because I had to drive it slowly (a bit like owning your own vineyard but being teetotal!)

You only live once (and in close proximity to Germany) Your 911 is enough to lose your licence but you have self restraint in it. I'm sure you would be the same once you had the Macca for a month or so.I have to add that the 12c was fantastic.
