Tax Disc Not Arrived

No need for the Del Boy style "Tax in post" notice then. This thread has just reminded me to swap my tax disc over. Been driving around all day with an out of date one showing.

Because it's Vehicle EXCISE Duty. And 'excise' is just another word for 'tax'. In fact, so is 'duty' in that context...

Only if you applied for it before your old one expired. You'd probably get away with it, as I doubt the police are able to check if you applied for it before or after the 31st.

Mine arrived today, well within the five day grace period.

Well then, guess what arrived this morning? My original tax disc, and a credit card bill, that I also knew was missing at the time.

I have my thoughts, but I have no issues with regular postie, as has been on holiday recently.
