Visit Chelsea Autolegends on Sunday or the PH parade gathering at the RAC Club and you will see what is regarded by the official Lamborghini historic register as being probably the most original condition (not another horribly over restored example) of all Muira cars on the planet. By the way, she is red and very very beautiful.

its rooftop is just 5141 inches above the tarmac
Although actually 41.5 (1 inch shorter than a Lotus Europa of the same period)

dave stew said: More to the point - look at the Countach that superseded it. I bet that was designed by committee! Don't look at the "add big bumpers for every international market's new safety regs" and "add wings to make it look more aggressive (and keep it on the road with the bigger engine)". Instead, look at the original version. THAT was a car that deserved to take the place of the Miura unlike pretty much every car since.

The red one I bought for £10 from a guy in the NEC show last year, the chrome one was a christmas present (also got a gallardo) no idea how much or from where, if you want I can find out later and I'll post the details.

Why no door mirrors though? The 60s were a time of wing mirrors. Door mirrors were generally a later thing and even in the 70s you often only got one on the driver's side. I wouldn't want to spoil that shape with mirrors though, would you? I wouldn't complain at having the optional door, or wing mirrors.... That red one with the gold is simply a work of art.

Is there a thread on scale model cars? Also, the Need for speed game pictured under the chrome Miura caught my eye. My gf has a ps3 & i have no games other than GT5 (im not big on games, but like car related ones.)

Am I the only one that think it looks like an ugly frog at the front? Admittedly it looks pretty good from most other angles.

Possibly the best looking car together with the Alfa 33 Stradale and Ferrari 250 GTO.
Beauty.
