Listings ended.
The pity is that there are scrotes about that do seek to benefit from such nonsenses. I do hope they failed.
"See original listing" and report as usual. smile

Reported. I am surprised EBay accept such obvious nonsense on their site. They clearly do.

Might be difficult to persuade eBay to remove that one since there is a lump of rust associated with it. OTOH - he's broken the "no contact details in listings" rule which means a report can be filed under "fee avoidance" wink

Listing ended maybe sold. I'll check the feedback in a couple of days to find the buyer find an item of theirs and get a few million Pound bidders on the case. hehe .

What do we think of this? Genuine sale or just another ringing kit?

It doesn't appear to fall foul of the rules - there's a bodyshell and engine to go with the ID as advertised.

Indeed and if the purchaser swoops the identity onto another car (which he well may) another sussessful ringer is on the road. The largest number of ringers I have seen is kit cars running on a Dutton/RH/Spartan or ther old kit car identity very occasionally on a Q plate, then Escorts particularly the quicker ones, then Mins. Great pity but in cases like these I do not see much we can do.

You need to be a little careful here.

You are allowed to replace old parts with exactly the same OEM products.

It is perfectly legal, legitimate, safe and moral to replace every single part on a landrover and end up with a vehicle which has no parts on which are related to teh vehicle that left the factory.

Rebuilding a car and retaining the existing registration is perfectly acceptable. However swopping the donor identity from one car which is beyond repair to another which is not because it suits you without informing the DVLA of the change and thereby creating a different car with the original identity is not. I have no objection to component rebuilds at all although I would not personally carry one out. But when the identity is swopped without any information of the swap being made clear to the DVLA this becomes unlawful.
