Mods,

Could we either move this thread to a sticky at the top of the forum or remove it all together. This is not a discussion topic and there is nothing interesting to read, just the same few posters pasting link after link.
Posting links to illegal listings for the followers and contributors of the thread to report to eBay for removal and/or the Police to help stopping the theft of vehicles.

Admittedly there isn't much to discuss. These people are either bottom feeding criminal scum or at best naive.

I'm sure you appreciate what we are trying to do here but is there anything you would like to add to make it more of a discussion?
The series of ebay links continually posted are trivially easy for a police force or navcis to find themselves if they wished to tackle the issue. It isn't and can't be made an interesting discussion topic for this forum, hence it should be removed.

So rather than add anything to the conversation you are just going to repeat yourself. Well thanks for your input.

The Tory's are in and we're still dealing with the consequences of the biggest economical melt down since World War II. The Police can barely afford what they have now, they can't be everywhere at once and it's up to us to help, the DVLA and eBay where we can.

Think of it as the online equivalent of reporting a drink driver when the nearest Police unit is the other side of town.

Endless streams of eBay links? The clue is in the title. Contributors provide links for others to follow and report. That's the ethos of what we are trying to do. Without the links, there wouldn't be the reports, without the reports the listings wouldn't be removed, if they're not removed someones car gets stolen.

Be sure to unsubscribe to the thread if it's that much of an issue. The fact the thread has been going for more than five years and you're the first one to complain about the lack of conversation says a lot.

The best way is take a few screen grabs, attach those and add a note explaining the situation and as many details as available to...

I don't have a problem at all. I wouldn't buy boxes of random bits and a VIN plate. See the shell anywhere? The car in the picture is 'just to show the colour'. Maybe it's genuine but I doubt there's enough there to legally claim the identity. If there is then happy days.

Aaah, my mistake. I did wonder why it had the stainless trims around the side glass.

Be nice to see the 'remains' become a nice Twin Cam again - there are pitifully few left.

Here! Here!

The kit car / Dutto/Robin Hood identity swaps are growing at a daft rate. One of the consequences of IVA introduction I thnk Undoubtedly more rebodied reengined ridiculous fiddles going on with the only connection between the kit car assuming the older cars identity beng the Vin Plates and the number plates.

Lot of this about currenty. The constant relisting of some of these several times does give me some hope that the buyers are beginning to be aware but it is definitely still going on!

It would be even worse to see one stolen and ringed.

The thing about that is eBay remove the listing, the seller changes the wording a little and eBay let it go until we report it and the merry-go-round revolves again.

This is where https://navcis.police.uk/ comes in very handy. They can relist it as many times as they like. The people who need to know already do. cop
