Signed - knew about this from the local news (she's a Swindon girl). Caused a bit of a stir because of her actions!

I hate drink drivers! A neighbour had his car smashed by one who tried to drive off. Did exactly the same thing and pleaded not guilty right up to the point of turning up at court and then went for the guilty plea. Unsurprisingly the judge threw the book at her too. Why do they do this? Denial? Parallel universe? You did it, cough up for it and hope you get a lenient judge....

Are these people that drive off simply so calculating or do they just dont know how to react, I can safely say I would stop, really dont think I could drive off.
