Just noticed the bold red notice at the bottom:

"Please only message if genuinely interested in ONLY THE CAR
The car will be shown away from the house and not by Girl in photo"

Really?! I know we are all having a laugh and a joke about it - but do people really think they might be 'in with a chance' via an internet car advert on ebay?!

using a girl / the missus in a car ad is seemingly a good way to get publicity, but as it's a bit of a pain in the arse to actually field the barrage of timewasters when selling a car even with a normal ad, i can only imagine the nightmares had by sellers who choose to do it. I reckon you'll get 1% genuine interest. Not really worth it!!

Dammit! There was me thinking she would hand over the car personally in that dress! Her other half must be getting worried at the abnormal number of views of the advert. And Thetford? Extra digits? Webbed feet? biggrin

So that means people should avoid it - one rule of car buying is never see a car away from the registered keepers address!

And the first rule of car selling is to not meet someone at your house. Yet we manage.
