"A ONE OFF (( LAMBORGHINI GALLARDO 2014 EXHAUST FITTED £5333 + VAT 17.5% WITH RECIEPT JUST MONTHS AGO - "

Vat changed to 20% in 2011. So, either the ad is a repost. Or, the work was carried out more than just a few months ago.

I guess it is expensive and time consuming to take an exhaust from a mid-engined car and fit it to a front engined one!

Maybe not the best angle to show off the exhaust at, look at that lovely fresh air down the sides of the external pipes! laugh

So they can spend £6000 on an exhaust but not £40 for the brakes? I'm sure we have a thread somewhere about things that put you off in car adverts, I think this one has most of the top 10 covered.

£750 on a respray but £5.5k on a Lamborghini back box and exhaust tips. Wtf.

Also if that engine has had a rebuild then why is it so dirty?

Someone wants to swap this for it as well based on the questions: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301729867142?ru=http%3A%...

It also staets in the advert that the mileage is 93,000 but the MoT document from a few days ago, shows 17,036? Looks like an advert that was placed years ago, just repeated with nothing updated.

The photo of this invoice from May 2015 shows VAT @ 20%, so the seller is a bit out of date! Why would you put a £6000 exhaust on a few mnths ago then sell, unless you didn't actually pay for it and got your mate to make you up an invoice...

Brilliant picture! If you look closely the official looking £5000 invoice says Estimate , £0 paid! Then it shows up on a hand written invoice. Who pays 5k for an exhaust and fits Hercules tyres and won't pay £40 for an mot! Someone is telling fibs!

It's been relisted as it didn't sell last time. I can't imagine why...

Also, 3rd Gen Camaros are worth pennies. You can buy a perfectly good running, driving example for around £2k. A mint one would be 'maybe' £4k at a push.

A few years ago yes - now however prices are on the rise. I'll agree that that particular one is waaaaaaay over-priced but get a decent Iroc and you're looking at £4-£5k... get a low milage minter and you're looking at strong money (http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/chevrolet/camaro-pre-2002/chevrolet-camaro-z28-convertible-4000-miles-only-from-new/4677468)....
