Good news!
I'm flying to Manchester next Monday to see the Mono at the factory!
James from SuperVettura was very helpful to arrange it.
I'm very excited!!! But won't be easy to register it in Switzerland...
I was up there yesterday. First time I saw it in the flesh. It's stunning. If they told you it cost £200K, you'd believe it. The quality is very high. Ian Briggs is a good guy too. I wasn't allowed to drive the one they had. They're supposed to be organising a track event in the next few weeks for those of us that have placed deposits. Now I've seen it first hand, I can't wait to drive it......I'm flying to Manchester next Monday to see the Mono at the factory!

LFB - Glad you liked the car, we had no fears you would not. We were blown away with not only the car when we first saw it but also the Brothers Briggs, they have engineered something quite spectacular and are good down to earth guys as you say. I am so pleased their car has been received so well into the Market as they really have put heart and soul into creating it. Let's start designing your car and getting it on it's way to the road, James is a whizz on the old computer thingy and can knock you up some designs when your ready.

We will work a way of getting it registered in Switzerland, I have sent weird and wonderful vehicles all over the planet and whilst sometimes it is not straight forward we have always succeeded in the end!
We have some friends in Switzerland who I can call on for assistance, I am sure if you love the car (which is really a silly question!) we can work it out between us all.
Have a safe flight on Monday and enjoy the beast!
Tom
Yes I love the car!
James from SuperVettura picked us up at the airport and I couldn't wait to see the car.
It looks absolutely fantastic. Ian and Neill showed us many parts and pieces they made to build the car and everything is so well made.
I could just look at it for hours!
Ian, Neill and also James are very nice chaps. We had a very good day at the factory and "of course" I placed an order for the car.
Should arrive next July / August.
I'm still not sure about what color to choose... For what color do you guys go?

Congratulations, I would opt for Lime green and the lower body in naked carbon. James from SuperVettura picked us up at the airport and I couldn't wait to see the car.

Congratulations on your order. One question for you. Did you sit it in the car? If so how did you find the fit? I'm quite a big bloke (17 stone, 36" waist, 47" chest) and it was very very tight!. Haven't driven it yet but at this stage its my main concern about owing one.James from SuperVettura picked us up at the airport and I couldn't wait to see the car.

Any news? First customer / demo cars?
I don't when the first cars are being delivered. I've got a test drive booked next month and I know a few other have too so I guess none have been delivered yet.On a different note, I find it curious that Evo have not reviewed the car yet. It's been in all the others (Top Gear, Auto-car, CAR etc) but not in EVO which if anything is the most driver focused magazine of the lot. Unusual for them not to be one of the first to drive a car.

Makes sense as that's when the test drives are booked. I guess first customer cars will be after that, maybe mid December. On a different note, I find it curious that Evo have not reviewed the car yet.
