IIRC you can get however many minors as long as you dont get 3 of the same one?

I drank 10 pints of beer, and a cola. I was vomitting the next day. Must have been the cola.
rofl I was thinking that. How many minors is one permitted these days?
Surprised he wasn't awarded at least one A* with that score wink

In what way does that relate?

10 minors is permissible.
First thing that sprang to mind, that's all. All in jest, fear not.

That's what I thought, but presumed there would be a maximum tally too.

Is that the only reason why you failed? If it is, then surely you must have some grounds for questioning the decision. Maybe elevate it to someone more senior?
I am thinking of contacting the DSA and see if the examiner was in the right, I have the female (yes it was a bloody woman examiner) examiners name and stuff on my driving test report.

Yes, really annoyed me that I got a Sheila as they can't drive properly but she was good looking which was kind of distracting as well.

The thing is that if you'd have run it over you'd have failed so you can't win. Maybe there's more to it than you are letting on but then again the people behind should have been driving at a reasonable enough distance to be able to stop safely.

It seems that some areas fail first time tests as a matter of course.

If it hadn't have been the cat, the examiner would have found another reason.

I have been told by a few people before that they can only pass so many people in a day/week or something and if they have met that qouta they will find a reason to fail you. How true that is I dont know, maybe your right but I am still upset about wasting my money now and I have to save up again for another test.

Ridiculous.

I'd have called her a complete idiot and taken it straight above her head.

Mind you your story would have more clout if you had not got so many minors.

Loving the beer/coke thing.

Sorry, your reply about female drivers/examiners sounded faintly ridiculous so I called "Tro-oollll!"

What if it had been a brick or some other obstruction, no problem there then just drive over it and damage the car.
I'd be complaining about the fail.

Oh dear...

By your rationale them, my wife can't drive properly. But then again, she's out in her car.

You on the other hand are sitting staring at a screen with no driving license and £70 less in your pocket.
