Jag for me please.

Even though it comes third, I can't be doing with the tech overload of the M5, Superchargers are some how cooler than turbochargers, the Merc is too big and ugly.

And the Jag is built and designed here(thanks Tata), not wanting to sound like a Mail reader but being British is just cooler than being German.

Strike me down if Im wrong God?

They've managed to make the M5 and the E63 look really boring and horrid in that picture, not a good arrangement of cars at all.

Jag probably looks the nicest in that shot, merc is too blandly styled for my liking.

The Jag is a load of s~#t! I just don't understand where all this nonsense about "soul" comes from, you do know that its an inanimate object?

Back to the Jag; load of rubbish, feels utterly cheap and as if it was put together buy a bunch of cowboys! the other two cars blow it out of the water on all aspects....is the Jag any fast in a straight line? NO. Is it fast round some bends? NO. Is it more comfortable? No so what is it good for? answer nothing at all, a delusional mans Merc.

I found a cracking POTW, sadly it's NSFW, but she's gorgeous, & what she's doing with that goat is crazy.....

Whatever soul or character is, I can imagine the big Merc has it.
The m5 is the one that fails to excite, the super bland styling doesn't help.

How depressing that they all look the same. At least Jaguar ought to stand out on looks....

Apart from all being large saloons I don't see where you're going with this.

84 months of lurking and that is the best attempt at trolling a thread you can muster hehe

With that level of product insight I'd say you've not been within 200 yards of an XFR...

It's a magic motor - and can easily hold it's own in the company photographed here.

Yeah you just don't get the quality of troll you used to.... Now if he'd claimed that his chipped 335d could blow them all away then we'd be back to the usual standard

Jaguar need to launch the XFR-S to reclaim the super-saloon crown. When that comes out, now THAT will make for an interesting comparison!

They are all far too heavy, its only tyre technology that keeps them on the road.Look how the original E28 was perceived as being lethal in the wrong hands.Because it simply has a lower grip to power ratio...

No one who drives these new cars at 60mph down a twisty road would be impressed, they are utter wk unless driven on the limit with a Hiroshima pluming off the back end.

Might Aswell buy a 520d and a lightweight for the weekend.

In my spare time I love to TROLL.

I am just rising to the bait here but I can't resist...

Is the Jag "any" fast in a straight line? YES (if you don't think 0-60 in 4.7s is fast may God help you). Is the Jag fast round "some" bends? YES. It has an active differential and if you ever bloody drove one instead of just trolling about it you would find it to be pretty handy round a lot of corners. Is it more comfortable? Er...YES. Much has been written in the press about it being the most comfortable super-saloon of them all.

Now get lost and troll somewhere else you d**k.

Where are you coming from exactly? An e39 isn't the lightest thing on the road either.

XFR for me please....love it, the engine sounds immense (although I have to admit not having heard the blown BM and AMG engines......)

I would also take the old style XFR without the DRL infected headlights...yuck...but having said that, if one of you generous chaps wanted to buy me a 2011 XFR I wouldn't be so rude to refuse it based on the DRLs.... wink
