Looks like it's just a slight depression in the carbon fibre to me, sort of a half-arsed cup holder. hehe
Actually it's a real cup-holder that hasn't been cut out yet. Or rather it's going to be a real cup holder!

Damn I'm good. I can spot a cup holder before it's more than 2mm deep. silly

That steering wheel looks like there is an airbag in there.

That spells well for global sales!

Best of luck to Ginetta!

With those aerodynamic uniforms they would get around pretty quick.

Under powered for today's Market! A specced car will be around 75k! You could buy a real used supercar for that.. Gallardo, R8, 997 turbo, f430 or A new GTR! I would say this would of competed against the cayman but still no real threat..

Does nothing for me, and and does not look to pretty against an Evora or V6 Exige, i think this car has come way to late, had it been around 6 or 7 years ago it might have done ok, but Lotus have got this car's Brit Sports car bases covered with the Exige/Evora

great proportions - the car not the girls !

shame the led's don't follow the same line as the light frame but overall good job. glad they ditched the previous blakes 7 dash.

i really hope this scar gets up and running. logistically how would you service/repair one though? living in LDN....

Wanted to like this. Just can't shake off the cheap feeling (cabin, and those doors!). I know it's not something people are allowed to say on here regarding British sports cars. I just don't get how Artega can get the interior, fit and finish looking right. Guess it's all down to engineering processes.

hope the finish is better than the old boot they took to the goodwood fos. i'm sure that it was just a developement hack but it really was a bit of a nail.

Great comments from people who quite plainly haven't seen it. The interior has a very good quality feel to it, definately not kit car and better put together than the cars quoted. Everything on it is there for a reason including the side vents to keep the engine operating at a decent temperature. There are no airbags or any 'electronic gizmos' as to quote LT they just add weight and then you're caught in the never ending spiral of adding bigger brakes and more power etc etc to cope with the extra weight.

Like most if not all cars it look better in the flesh and the quality of both the painted and exposed carbon bodywork is of a quality you'd find on cars costing three times the price.

I think when people see and drive it they'll sell.

Mine goes ok with 600+bhp and 900kgs .....they must have tried very hard to soften it this much.

How many times does that age old (and rather st) argument have to be bandied about? Comparing used cars with new cars isn't comparing apples with apples.

Very nice, but..for the same price in the classifieds :

F430 20,000 miles.. £69000
Aston Vantage 12,000 miles £68000
Bentley Continental GT Speed 26,000 miles £69000
Lambo Gallardo 22,000 miles £69000
Porsche 997 Turbo 22,000 £69000

It would be really difficult to justify a Ginetta purchase at the price.

I'd buy a Ginetta. Given the choice it'd be the cheaper one though.
