Went to DK Engineering (Ferrari Specialists in Hertfordshire) open day on Saturday and saw this original competition GT-A

The sales guy said that they were near to concluding its sale for circa 250k Euros !!!!!!

That seems to me to be very high, even with full history & provenance....?

One drove past me the other day in a sea of superminis, MPV's and so on.

It was a ray of sunshine.

Such a perfectly resolved design.

Some more photo's of my GTA-R restoration.

Progress has been slower than i'd hoped but quality and attention to details have been great, which is the most important thing. Need to sort out N/S door skin as profile is not yet perfect and then it'll be nearly ready for some paint.

I don't really like them. The saggy arsed styling, cramped interior and the way you can feel the rear axle moving about. I guess they drive better when modified but I just don't 'get' them. The Alfetta Coupe was a big step forward as was the Alfasud Sprint - interior trim and rust prevention excepted of course.

The old Alfa twin cam was (and is) a superb bit of kit though, a real 'engineers' engine.
