For the popularity and (potential) size of the company, that is THE most amateur website I have EVER seen--> 1/10

Doesn't anyone else think the whole site looks suspicious? The email addresses are suss, the links and data out of date. This doen't strike me as a proTVR site, rather a amateur putting a site together for fun.

Here we go again.

TVR are never going to exist again as manufacturers. The world has changed.

It's a moronic site written by a moron fan and we're all talking about it, like morons. It's quite frankly amateur hour at PH towers again. You've got paid classifieds, a new look...lets now have some editorial professionalism. *grumble*

Dump an AJP8 ?? you can dump them all in my garage if you want. I'd rather have a Rover 500 engine all day, if you spent the money on that engine that you spend fitting and buying a brand new Chevy into it you could get 450BHP no problems and its an all aluminium engine. I really hope something good happens to TVR soon though
A real 450hp from an n/a Rover V8. Good luck.

TVR now offers customers to build the models Sagaris, Tuscan convertible, Tuscan MK II, Cerbera, Chimaera and Griffith to individual specifications. All cars feature a new 6.2L 426 bhp 420 lb/ft V8 engine, and an enforced 5 gear gearbox at a fixed price.

Now I just need to win the lottery.

And find a company that has the knowledge, skills and workforce to build them. And actually deliver them rather than keeping your deposit and using your car as a show car. Allegedly.

Perhaps I would just buy TVR hehe I would probably do a better job than the bloke in charge now, Sell the cars that the customers want, built in england, from english parts (with multiple engine choices from different companies, e.g. chevy, ford, etc.) and priced competitively but still enough to turn a profit.

Why a five speed? Wouldn't it make more sense to fit the six speed transaxle that comes with the LS2/3 in the 'Vette?

The whole thing smells a bit "brown alley".

I guess that the office address of the business is in Vienna, because he lives there with his family. Doesnt necessarily mean that any work will be done there.

The PH news title should 'RIP TVR' instead

That website is a wind up surely...

What is the situation with spares for the real TVR's at the moment, please tell me nobody will have to ever give any money to Smolenski...

This is not going to make money as a business, so why has he done it?
Only one answer - looking for a buyer for TVR as a 'going concern' rather than just a famous old name.
I doubt he'll get what he paid to PW...

For

But seriously though, it does look like Smolenski has just taken the TVR Power ideas that were published in evo a few months ago and made them 'factory'.

I wonder if the chap from TVR Power is on here? Can he comment?
