I'm not at all keen on the big wheels and low profile tyres, but I've always liked the 348 and it's nice to hear first-hand experience of one.

Is it not plausible for a DIY mechanic to do the belt change, then?

Far to early for that sort of thing!
I'm developing a deep hatred for 'thefuriousinc', far too many examples of unregistered exotica with delivery miles. PH should do a piece on them, find out who's behind this charade!

The seller also has a new/unregistered F40,F50 and Enzo. Plus some uber rare BMW and Lambo show cars.

All seems a bit strange....why use a car dealer based in the Czech Republic to sell cars like that?

Owner/owners are probably east European or Russian investors/collectors and CZ really is the perfect place to offload inventory. Sounds like a lot of post-Soviet petrodollars needed to be put somewhere quickly and discreetly, a garage full of select cars is one way of getting rid of some moolah.

So why have there been 4 cambelt changes in 5 years / 16000km?
His car is 22 and has had 4 belt changes is what he meant. smile

Lovely, lovely car. If you can do that kind of work yourself I bet the costs don't mount up too ridiculously.

Stick some F355 wheels and an F355 door on it, take a side snap and it could be the F355.

The F355 was an evolution of the 348.

Great article, I loved my 348GTS (arguably more than my 355), it was bulletproof and I used it every single day to commute in. Would have another in a heartbeat
Ditto - I have had a 348 Spider and a 348 TB and loved both of them. I now have their spiritual "Daddy" but will undoubtedly have another 348, probably a Spider, at some point yes

Took my breath away on this Wednesday morning!
Never really paid much attention to the 348 until Henry Catchpole (Evo) wrote that it has some of the best steering he's ever sat behind.
Couple that statement with the looks of this particular car and suddenly the F355 is just a bit... girlie. wink
