jimjim150, you are right if you mean the edition 35 is the same as the R engine, just detuned. The normal gti is a different engine.

P.s i bought one of these the other day, its a great car. 3 dr manual tho.

Good to see VW UK were able to get you the Meribel winter combo. I spend 2 months chasing them for availability and eventually went with Audi for a cheaper set!
