Liking that, love the turbine style wheels remind me of what the early Clio 16v used to have.

That does look quite nice apart from the roof spoiler which makes it look like a pram. Wonder what rediculous price tage this will have considering an S3 starts at £31k...

I saw an A1 yesterday with early 80s rally graphics all over it and big 1s on the doors.
It looked... odd.

I'd expect it to start at the same price as a specced up Cooper S works, so about £27k or so. And at that point it'll be too expensive already, before any options.

Over £30K I reckon. God knows after a few options are added.

I'll play Audi dealer top trumps, nearest dealer to me has a V12 TDI Q7 in the showroom, complete with ceramic brakes. £102,000!!! If I win the lottery this weekend I'm going to buy it just for it's sheer lunacy. And remap it obviously.

For the price this will go for you may as well opt for a lightly used 997.

It is, until you want it in a colour that looks nice, and want the posh seats (which I'm sure are an option) then it becomes an Audi again..... laugh

I really don't get how they can charge so much extra for a VW with a different badge.

yet they cant make them fast enough, and i cant buy them fast enough

they (and bmw) are the apple of the car world, £1500 for a macbook pro 15 when a windoze laptop is £500

I hate that analogy. Apple offer a better product that looks nicer than the competition, so charge a premium for it. Audi just charge the premium.

I wouldn't say the premium for Apple products is justified to be honest. Anyway that's a different topic.

£27k? No chance!

I recon more like £35k before options, loaded one will be touching £40k just like the Golf R!

While you're entitled to your opinion and I would defend your right to voice it to the death, you're wrong!
