Hopefully someone will key his car for parking like a tt then smile If you don't want to risk your car being hit by someone else... don't use a public car park. Its a total dhead move to park like that and prevent someone else from parking at all. Fair enough in an empty car park... but not in a full one.

To be fair though, it doesn't look like it would actually fit between the lines even if parked properly. And if it did would it be possible to get back in if someone parked next to them?

You could argue that if he has the cash throw out on an R8, he must have some spare for an old banger to go shopping in..... That would be my solution. There's no way i'd take my P&J to the supermarket!

partially this ^^^ but the fault also lies with parking spaces that were designed for the orignal Fiesta or Escort frown

every new car my parents have had have got car park dings within the first week due to selfish shopper's that cant be bothered to control their car doors.

i suppose its their fault too and they should keep money aside to repair damage done by these idiots frown

are designed to maximise the number of spaces and thus revenue with no concern for the customer who is usually over a barrel (ETFA)

This was a very busy leisure centre car park in Guildford recently !!

Took 5 mins looking for a space as it is always busy and matey had parked his R8 nicely,!!

What a selfish pr1ck. Clearly thinks an R8 is the best thing in the world as probably has a similiar opinion of himself. Clearly completely unnaware that he is more likely to get his car scratched/damaged by someone taking offence to his parking this way than he is by parking it normally. Maybe he's the toughest nut in Guildford!! laugh

ill raise you wink

granted no double yellow lines, but continues the full stretch of a road, numerous signs displayed about parking that get torn down, parking on curbs etc, on bends and plus, the road isnt that wide!

You can see how far it stretches
That looks like Nightingale Road in Woodley, Hazel drive is the junction on the right. People parking for the station?

Today I came across a demonstration of unbelievable ignorant parking, with total disregard to other car drivers. I was so emotionally upset, I had to have a sit down and make sure I was seeing what I thought I was seeing.

Not only has one "White Van Man" managed to park within the boundries of the designated parking area, but it looks like another "White Van Man" has managed it as well.

Its unbelievable that not only "One White Van Man" seems not to have attended the "White Van Man" parking accadamy, two of the buggers, and what do I see in the distance to the left of the picture.

For gods sake, next we will have "White Van Man", giving way at roundabouts next biggrin

On a similar vein I saw two black BMWs indicating to exit a roundabout and then one of them let a bus pull out.I am sure we must be in some time shift parallel universe.

Minimum parking space size is 2.4m x 4.8m regardless of the tinfoil hat suggestions.

And how many car parks have spaces bigger than this minimum and thus less spaces than they might cram in.
An average(ish) car is about 2m wide so that leaves 20cm each side.

And that is the PROBLEM. My S80 is 1206 mm from external of mirrors, supermarket and car parks are just crap, but it doesnt really excuse the majority of piss poor parking attempts we see on here. Keep it up lads, I like my morning chuckle.
