It's a previous location but brand new muppets parking at Chatteris Co-op

I have a new theory on this spot - they use the arrow (bottom right) as an aiming device and just stop when they get to the wall biggrin

They cannot even park in a space that is not a space:

Lazy van parking:

This one is on a path where there is no spaces for a couple of carlengths. Crazy!

this is perfectly acceptable to me to avoid chavs denting your doors on 2 conditions

1) you do it at the far back of the carpark, where there's lots of room, if the car parks not approaching full

2) your not driving a st box

Judging by where they are parked in relation to the blue van, it seems like they are parked pretty central in the gap left between the van and your car.
Also judging by the gap between the white line and your car, unless the bays are jumbo I wouldn't have said you were fully in the bay on the passenger side either.
To be honest, the parking was horrendous throughout the car park, i only captured this one as it was inconveniencing me slightly at the time!

IIRC, the van was a fair way over, not over the lines, but probably nigh on the line! I think I was parked quite well, might have been half a foot or so from the passenger side white line, but I folded the mirrors in to minimise impact hopefully! I didn't notice anyone parked next to me whilst I was there, but I would have thought if someone had parked centrally in the lines in the next space, there would have been sufficient space!
Still, never mind, this is what this thread is for smile

You should have done the PH thing and parked fifteen miles away from the entrance to the services smile Anyone who is a passenger in my car complains about me parking as far away from any other car as possible hehe

yes

Clipped the back of the corsa and hit the gas instead of the brakes. Apparently it happens at least once a month!

The silly thing is, apart from those spaces in the car park behind, this was far from the entrance! biggrin
I know what you mean though, I usually try and do the same, but I had my friend with me who is 9 months pregnant - I don't think I could have done that to her! laugh

I am guessing this is the right thread for the ultimate BAD PARKING occasion....

OK it is the Daily Wail but saw the lovely story of a 22K+ journey driving around the World in a '65 Bristol (or some such) and he spent virtually nothing on repairs until they got home and parked in Sainsbury's car park.

Amyone want to guess what happened next? frown
