Knowing how the local press works, I'd imagine that they weren't there to take pictures of the actual parking that resulted in folk being 'blocked in' and that these are pictures of (slightly less serious) selfishness taken at a later stage to illustrate the story wink

None of which makes the parking in that photo any less terrible.

Nor does it make the car in the picture any less an Audi
It Shirley wouldn't have been too difficult for some of those 170 drivers to grow a pair and manhandle the obstruction(s) away?

Your right of course, but it wouldn't be too difficult for those morons to park sensibly either.

If you can't manhandle it then smash the window and push it out of the way...

Nice of the driver to consider other drivers by not parking fully on the road on a bit of a bend. Not so good for people out walking.

The Evo behind isn't doing much better but at least they allowed a foot or so gap to enable pedestrians to walk on the pavement.

With a parking space on the other side of the road...

Was the woman getting in, or trying to get past? I think if it was the latter I'd have been tempted to let the handbag connect with the car all the way down the side...

(If I was a woman that was biggrin)
The woman was speaking to the driver, (who was in the car), but I don't know if she knew him or was pointing out how much of a dick he was.

I was going to 'bump' the wing mirror but couldn't get past.

There is a door mirror on each side. Either would bend back nicely with a little persuasion.

And, yes, I have done this with a driver in the car. Even male ones! And I am certainly not a goateed weightlifter!

OY62 FJO

LOUTH, Lincolnshire.

Parked on bus stop for several minutes, driver inside and engine running.

The liveried Police van that had been parked behind this car was driven away by its uniformed occupant as I started taking pictures. Coincidence?

That says so much about the owners of those cars.
Dont see anything wrong with this...these are very valuable cars and CANNOT be parked in the same way or space as a £500 ford fiesta...This is automotive royalty and must be treated by respect, which means they can park wherever they will be safe from idiots opening doors on them. And so what if they get a £50 fine - much cheaper than fixing the panel damage. So stop winging people......

While it's tempting to do damage, I can't bring myself to do it.

A mirror pointing the wrong way, (not broken!), does give one a sense of achievement and would hope got 'the message' across.

I guess if I'd thought about it I could've 'bumped' the passe
nger side mirror but it didn't cross my mind at the time.

Duly noted.
