The standard image is right and has replaced the JPS Lotus 72 on my prehistoric HP laptop. Other images are wrong as stated above .... nobody at PH Towers around to fix this?

1440x900 is (or was anyway) the standard res for a widescreen laptop. Prior to widescreen desktop monitors becoming as popular as they are now.

You're right we could do with taking a look at what res's we put out and we may do in the future.
But always remember, you can put a larger picture on your background and have it scaled down.....(without losing aspect ratio). Mobile sized could be a good idea though. But the same applies to mobiles, download a picture, click hold and set as wall paper. select the bit you want. Job Jobbed surely.
Maybe something to consider for the future though.
Also the links to the mid and large sizes don't work! Takes you to last week's pic...

Sod the res' or aspect, how about straightening the image so the hanger in the background doesn't look like it's collapsing... or am I giving away the sad fact that I haven't yet made it down to La Sarthe?

Ahhhh, that's better!

The 917 is my all time dream car. I bought an Ultima GTR because it was the closest thing I could find at that price point. I love Porsche engineering, but when the 917 first emerged it was one of the most dangerous handling cars. The aerodynamics which were the problem, were actually sorted out by a British team. There was a fantastic documentary about the car, but sadly I cannot remember what it was called.

If anyone can remember what it's called, please post it up. I would like to get hold of a copy smile

Now if you have $7500 how about a 917 sofa LOL

I want that sofa! Just not quite sure how to explain that to the girlfriend...
Hi TangoGTR – just explain to your girlfriend that ‘orange’ is your favourite colour and that with this modern and contemporary design platform you would feel like you’re going 250 MPH while sitting still, reading your latest instalment of EVO “Porsche Supercars” magazine (or should that be NUTS ??? – just kidding biggrin).

and to ‘really’ get her on your side, tell her that she could complement the sofa with six of these Torgny Fjeldskaar’s Motorsports carbon fiber Ch.Air’s by Swiss-based furniture brand Laisr, for when you have guests around for dinner ;

……. and at 2000 Euro’s a throw , they’d be a snip at £10,000 eek - HAPPY NEW YEAR... wink
