Anyway, the thing you need to know about ph, M5s and The Thread is The Spreadsheet. Try not to be too scared.
The Spreadsheet wears an ///M polo shirt.

Being scared is a fair response, I'd say wink

Chris, I've no doubt you wont fall into the trap of trying to please everyone on PH. If there was issue with your content or style up to this point, PH wouldn't have wanted you on board in the first place and this joint thrives on controversy, not towing any company line (I think youve proved your credentials in that dept).

Garlick, can we also have that young Jewish-looking chap from 5th Gear (Johnny)? He's not as knowledgeable as some (yet) but he speaks sense and with a level head and I think he's quite funny. If you can get Harris, getting him should be a cinch.

Welcome!

It would be good to learn more about the E28, how about a little post and write up in Readers Rides?

Would also like to learn more of the E34 acquired recently.....

A great intro Chris and I'll say it again;

I am one of many who are delighted to see you on board and can't wait to see your contribution.

PH is on the map anyway, but now we have our very own Porsche-loving primate to carve up the tarmac!

"I don't waste hours on new-car configurators. I waste time looking at E34 M5s. And Integrales. And Alfa 145 Cloverleafs. When I go for a run, all I can think about is whether it might be possible to use a 456 M GT for a year without bankrupting yourself."

mmmmm........ Yeah, I can fully relate to that apart from the bit about going for a run eek

Welcome and good luck, Simoni

I hope (along with all the news stuff) we still get the Harris guide to the best 991 configuration.... (And hopefully a long report on the 4.0...)

I'm sorry but there's no need for imagery like that before the watershed.

I've enjoyed your writing in evo thoroughly - particularly about the RS 4.0

I look forward to reading more.

For the love of the flying spaghetti monster, please no.
