It's a 9 year old V8 BMW with running costs that scare the **** out of your average £6k car buyer.

This might put you off - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/270924342196

Wonder why previous buyer left positive feedback "nice" but didn't complete transaction?

The purchase of wet'n'dry and wheel spray paint might also be a concern - http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFe...

I'll bet a pound to a pinch of st that's the same car that was on here a short while back at £2.5k for a while, didn't sell and eventually Ebayed out at ~£1k.

It had the original hub-cap-alike alloys, a private plate and was photographed on a bit of wasteground with red bricked Victorian terrace/back-to-backs in the background.

No idea what sort of warranty one would get - if any - but LS400 at a main dealer.

I would however be looking at spend a little more and get a post 01.

And praise PH wisdom again, this and the G27 Ginetta both have dodgy histories brought to life from ph threads!

Ok back to Alfa GT JTD then...

Not those pics, nor wheels and plate - but the latter are easily enough changed, so possibly.

I can't believe that there are three E32 750iLs, all from the same year, all with ~70k miles and all in the same colours for sale overlapping/so close together, especially given how small the world is for V12 Sevens and their most ardent fetishists...

Of course it is possible, I just find it improbable. If you were sat on a thirsty, borkprone "modern classic", you wouldn't pick now to sell it for the best return - would you?

Indeed. Some Lexus dealers barely even have any current gen LSs let alone previous gen / older.

I think I could fairly describe the offer as 'rather low', i.e less than 50% of asking!

Yes Compact is being sold. Bought it, got one of the seats re-trimmed, put my girlfriends private plate on it now she decides she doesnt like it that much........ It's actually a lovely little motor but just not quite big enough or barge like or quick enough for me to want to keep it for myself as a long termer.

On another note, how much does it cost to take a plate off and put on retention? Cost £80 to put it on there 2 weeks ago! Grrrr.
