Contours and black ash. Very nice.
Crikey thats absolutely fantastic. It's even still owned by somebody bothered enough to fit Continental tyres.

Just wow.

Isn't it about now somebody pops in to say its worth no more than a bag? tongue out

I doubt you'll get classic insurance on a facelift E38. However I go through A-Plan for my MX5 on a limited mileage policy (5k) and its very reasonable compared to full mileage policies.

Indeed

Viewing is at the earliest convenience of the seller wink

I'm sure you're not going to attempt to steel, that would contravene the first rule of Barging

I'd wager it is up for just over the bid that the seller was given by a main dealer, and when you look at it like that spending £2k + on an 11 year old V8 with a huge potential for bills is a huge gamble.

There are very few people in the world who will see that car as a bargain, enthusiasts, especially those who value barges are few and far between.

Looks very good - not seen 'em rusting on the leading edge of the bonnet like that before, but other than that it's spot on.

Quite!

Imagine the dealer 'So, that's a 190E in light ivory, with the 2.6 engine along with a manual box and cloth trim? Just a 50% deposit required to order please sir'.

I like his claim that 6 cylinder manual cars are rare. I'd always assumed manual Mercedes of this era were rare with good reason.
