Ah, that's where the seemingly spotless £8k E34 M5 3.6 came from. Then got sold a few months later, with the new owner having spent the same again making it as good as it looked. Some not very favourable comments bandied about every time that business's name appears on PH, it's enough to form a general opinion.

It still needed more work when he sold it for less than he'd spent on it too. Then there was the 968 CS that was definitely HPI clear. Apart from being Cat C (possibly D) with Dragster suspension.

Right so a couple of cars may have allegedly been misdescribed, but with over 600 cars sold on eBay alone and good feedback I don't think that would put me off. As always wherever you buy - 'buyer beware'. The grumbling on the Porsche forum seemed minor imo.

As I said in the ad, I really, really hope I don't regret selling it, as I looked at a lot of rubbish before I found it and I've really come to appreciate it's quality in the short time I've had it. But the E320T has arrived and I can't have both.

Advice needed - re the Lexus - it had the cambelt done in late 2002 at 70k. Its only done 45k since, but it is nearly 10 years ago. Do cambelts really deteriorate with age? Or should I keep my fingers crossed and just drive?!?!

I would change it based on the years that have passed.
If i recall, only the Mk1's had a non interference engine so not a big issue if the belt went

Probably has some spec though, which is the only thing your advisertised one appears to lack

You might get a good motor, but it's not a risk worth taking. eBay is unique in it's ability to find idiots who will be happy with anything if they think they've got a bargain and Buchanan's cars always end up as "bargains". So feel free, but I never will.
