Compared to yours it: Is facelift Has digital climate Contis all round Looks mint Less miles Less owners Probably better history etc Is that worth 2.5k to you?

When I was looking at E38's I missed out on one sold in Chepstow (Hornet or someone on PH got it) then agreed £800 on a 150K mile 728 that had a new block fitted at 80K due to Nikasil. That one had a fresh MOT and was rust free but it did have a bad shimmy at 60mph. In the end I back out after deciding that shimmy might be expensive (relative to purchase price) to sort and the spec wasn't "special" enought to live with. I looked at a 740i at £1500 that was appalling and a 51 plater that was good mechanically but had rust coming through and the beige interior had a few bad black stains on the door carpeting. That one had been up at £3K, the offered it at £1500 with a fresh MOT and then it was later re-advertised again with fresh MOT for £3K. I suspect it depends on: How desperate the seller is for cash or Are they rich enough to not be worried about £1-£2K here or there How long it's been for sale What their expectations are What they paid for it Perception of cost to fix known problems After the last cheap 535i, I onder what this will go for? It's been up a few times IIRC. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&am...
