If neither are a big or expensive job, why exactly has a trader not got it done?
E38Ross, just buy another car to go alongside. That was my solution - I've now got V8 Waftiness plus top down fun courtesy of a (fairly tatty) MX5. Now the only problem is which to choose (or at least when the sun is shining) for less than the alternatives I was considering as 535 replacements.
We'll see how long these two last before the itch strikes again...... can't see me being able to have 2 cars for a while yet i'm afraid! the E38 is great, i do wish it had more power sometimes though....but in reality it's all you actually NEED. as said, once up to speed it is quick enough and will happily cruise at 100. i found out today i'm getting a pretty hefty bonus from work (part time, but still getting a lot) so will get it booked in for a coolant change so i know exactly what concentration it has and it's using the right stuff, as well as power steering fluid change. no history of power steering fluid change, coolant was done when the radiator was replaced 18 months ago......or should i just leave it be for now? thoughts....? Ross.

Ross. Just change both. Rad fluid should be done every two years, the only difference in power steering fluid is the colour, spec is the same.

Surely you don't need to worry until the darkest depths of winter anyway? I just used to fill my old Metro up with tap water - never did it no 'arm

Personally I'd put it in a fund for if something goes bang rather than spending it on coolant unless you know yours is made of piss and orange juice...

Fair point chaps. I'll wait until it's due an oil service and get the coolant done at the same time, it'll be 2 years old then. It survived this winter no problems. Except the sat nav unit dying.... Now fixed though! Not sure about steering fluid? Does it need doing????

Definitely change the steering fluid mate, your steering wheel may be about to drop off at any moment otherwise. In other news - rumours of the E38 being moved on have been greatly exaggerated. Picked her up from Forza today (bit of a manpower delay at their end) and she's tight as a drum Gonna stick with it for a while to get my money's worth

Fake CELIS lights and a seller happy to lose a fortune on it just to get rid on a 7 day auction. I bet it's lovely.

The 'max power' Corsas in the background dont fill me with confidence. The leather gloves in picture 7 are an odd prop! How about this for a 'stanced' E32; Sure to divide opinion....
