I was going to check the prices of the NSX.. but there's none for sale on PH currently! Has anyone seen these creep under £10K? If not, I'm sure they'll hold or rise in the next 10 years. Also tipped by Harry in this month's EVO.
No, NSX's are still a lot more than £10k. As are R34 GTR's.B5... Looking at the RS2, that's also quite a good call. RS2s haven't budged an inch in price for about 5 or 6 years. Although I wouldn't gamble my 10K on a B5.
Wondering off topic a bit.. I think when (more like IF) the Civic FD2 drops under 10K, it might be a keeper? certainly more so than the DC2/5.

For these cars to be worth much in 10 years time, the manufacturers still need to be supplying a full range of spares. That hasnt been too bad a problem in the past with the British industry classics but will the likes of Nissan or Mitsubishi still be supplying bits for cars that they stopped making 20 years ago?

There is a TVR Tuscan for sale at the moemnt for £11k it looks to be quite a good one, it will be worth more han £11k by the summer this year
That Tuscan is way too cheap. There doesn't appear to be anything outwardly wrong with it yet it's cheaper than a couple of write off wrecks for sale???There is a TVR Tuscan for sale at the moemnt for £11k it looks to be quite a good one, it will be worth more han £11k by the summer this year
Something doesn't add up.

The Evo is a cult car. As much of a cult car as I've ever known. Not just in the UK and Japan but lots of markets. Whilst there is demand SOMEONE will be making parts, even if it's not the OEM.dvs_dave said:

Some looked at it today, and did a write up on the Tuscan thread. You can buy it for £11k. Seems like a good deal.Something doesn't add up.
I reckon that a mint low miler later plate Honda Accord Type R will definitely rise in the next 10 years. I cant see Honda making another ATR in that time period and besides, all the st examples will have either been broken for the engine + recaro's or they'd have been crashed. Current prices tend to start from 2k for a high miler early car and upwards of 3.5k for the later mint examples.
There's been a couple of Porsche 968 clubsports for sale on ph for aaaages, now I think if you turned up to view it with 10k in a bag you might get one of them-& that's a genuinely loved performance icon-you just never hear bad words about them. Still usable as well I'd say, in fact I'm pretty tempted myself
As others have said a Z3M coupe sneaks in, & I think the quirky bread van styling will have its day in the sun.
Siesta cossie's can't stay low forever & ten years might be all it takes, people will always want them for historic Motorsport which always helps values.
Impact bumper 911s are the next ticket IMHO, but the boats sailed on sub ten grand, unless you're lucky & catch a desperate seller. My choice would be the SC as no one likes the 2.7s (these still are sub ten grand) & everyone wants a g50 boxed 3.2 which are already past ten grand.
Off the wall choices? Volvo T5R-Motorsport pedigree again, an original intergrale, those alfa's that they put the bodykit in the boot for touring car homolgation, Saab 900 turbo, the best subaru/Mitsubishi you can find(scoot will need blue & gold colour scheme, Mitsubishi red ).
