I dont like it either. It reminds me of a supra with a bodykit on it
I have to agree with the Supra/Prelude/generic Jap coupe comments.

Its the really long looking front and general squareness that reminds me of a prelude. They are both jap coupe's so reasonable that they would be similarly proportioned. Also with the fussy body on it i am very much reminded of 90's bodykits and the prelude was a car pretty heavily modified. I was only commenting from the way it looks in pic of the week too, havent seen it in the flesh, i'm sure its much more impressive.

After looking at pics on the net ive decided pic of the week isnt a particularly good shot of this car. Isnt a particularly good pic full stop really.

Personaly cannot see any hint of a prelude but looks are subjective so nevermind. In the flesh I'm not sure there's a better looking car IMO!

Aside from it having 4 wheels, I can't really see the similarities

That's confusing, what about it reminds you of the supra? Is it the fact that its made by the same company? I could see why that would remind you of it in the same way my mum reminds me of my dad, but they share no common denominators other than both being my parents.

Judging by CAR magazine's report, you woiuldn't be concerned about looks after driving one, seemingly there's few Super-cars than can touch it & not just in outright speed.
the LFA is an irrelevance to me, I could never afford one in a million years so how fast it goes is irrelevant, the only enjoyment i can get is how it looks and sounds and it certainly looks a mess tbh, and that it costs 25k

In the way that its just like any jap coupe that somebody has overly-modified. Basic coupe shape with as many parts as they can find just stuck on it untill its hardly recognisable and then paint it bright orange. Just needs some stickers on the doors saying "sparco" and "brembo" to finish the look off

Think about it, wine tasters are a classic, look at the language they use. "Getting hints of raspberry" is a common one, clearly not raspberry but reminds them of a similar smell.

Everything on the LF-A is there for a purpose - if its needed for cooling, downforce etc its there, if its not required then you will not find it

Definitely function over form and I admire it for that

Stunning car, everything about it. I don't care about the looks, I quite like them to be honest, certain colours show it off better. How long before these become affordable to the average gentleman? haha.

I think Specsavers need to start reading PH, they could get a fair few new customers from this thread..

Roofline, front and rear flanks and bonet reach and slope are identical to the Supra!

Oh I love the Zonda too(Zonda R for me), but there is just something about the LFA that ticks the boxes for me.
Thankfully I don't suffer badge envy either. The noise that the LFA makes alone is a huge selling point to me, and if it is as good to drive as the reviewers are saying it is, then it has everything I could ever want in a car. Looks are always subjective.

Are there many good videos of the LF-A out there on the web?

Looks are one thing, but the sound.....it's just awesome!

So you get enjoyment out of cars because they look and sound good alone? Not because of the chassis, the speed and the tech? Whether you drive one, can afford one, it makes no difference to me. I read the reviews, watch the cars in action and can appreciate them from that alone.
