Very very old video, was just before I got the car. Car now has the cage taken out and seats/harness fitted. Interesting video to post given that I know what speed that must have been!!

If anyone interested, car now having full rebuild to as new spec. Will be back in the summer.
How long have you had the car?

Isn't there a rule where you can't be tried for the crime if it was X years ago? I seem to remember Alex Roy doing something similar with his run from east to west. Perhaps that's just America though, or perhaps I made it up.

Have to say that was the best PH news item ever! Absolutely brilliant not to see a car of this value tootling or outside Harrods. As for the erm, enthusiastic driving, I wouldn't care if how many points I took (for the seatbelt I mean, of course).

I sincerely hope that this was shot before August 2011, because if it wasn't then I've been regularly (well, I went twice last week) driving past Dick Lovett (almost applied for an apprenticeship with them but it was too far away :'() for work and... the video of Tiff in a GTR on the road makes me cry at the end because I am never going to have one unless I am the jammiest git in the world.

If I drove one I would summarily kill myself straight after.

(Whether this is because life would never be as good as the driving of that, or so that someone with an F1 that doesn't like me would just give me the keys for an hour... no comment wink)

600 brake, and it looked well planted at each full throttle burst....

Then again, was it on full slicks?....

No wonder CH was soiling himself.

Great vid btw Chris

very nice - love the way the driver kept looking in the mirrors (for the police?) as if anything was about to catch up.....

As a rule, probably best not to disagree with the owner of a car about it's heritage laugh

Re: the Police. i reckon they just wanted a closer look. Don't blame them smile

To all @drive.

Keep it coming. If you could string together an hour show once a week. Maybe air it at 21:00 every Sunday. wink

Awesome videodriving

Not sure i'd be sitting there with no seat belt though, no matter who the driver was!

Guys, I bought a car from a dealer in 2010 and have just found out the chassis number is not what they said it was. Can I get my money back?

Road tyres. Mclaren did conversion in 2006.

Planted throttle would spin the wheels.
