I don't think the price is too much of an issue. I can't remember wanting a car so much in a while and, as we saw the other week, a fully-specced Cayman could be pushing £80k.

I think that it's nice that they show you the chassis next to the finished product in the first picture.

I suddenly have a desire to know what this would look like in a sort of flat, medium-dark green.

Spitfire green, if you like.

I love it. I think it looks fantastic but i dont think the interior looks like its in an 80 grand car but i suppose thats not the point with this car. I do like it in black but i cant help but think the head on photo looks a bit black cab. BRG for me please

My dad and I went on a tour of the place donkey's years ago and saw a weird cross eyed grey thing poking out of a small unit. When we went over to investigate we were polite told that this was the prototype department, then given a few details about the not yet released Aero 8. Try getting that at Zuffenhausen or Maranello!
Here's one for you:

A couple of years ago I emailed the outfit who were campaigning the Aero 8 in GT Racing to inquire about something or other (I forget). A few emails were exchanged. He then forwarded one of my emails to Charles Morgan. Mr Morgan then emailed me inviting me to join Morgan and their owners at Silverstone for the FIA GT Championship. I was provided with the best passes in the house (BRDC! + pit access), shown around the new Supersports prototype and had a very nice chicken and leek pie and chips (IIRC). Quite a nice day out, that one!

Do tell Charles well done for keeping the flag flying. Great to see the return of the Plus 8. An old world roadster with a better power to weight ratio of a R300 Superlight. What a car. That's twice Morgan has got under my skin in 12 months - would I ever like those 7 new Morgan wheels in the garage! Does it flow Chris?

...i would love this car..quick blokeonomic calcualtion: -

keep forever - 40 years left of motoring life in me, divide £80K by 40 = £2000.00 a year...or £38.50 per week...

...almost seams affordable...

Yes - how do they make is so cheap!

Looks really good and addresses one of the main weaknesses of the Aero (looks only a mother could love).

The word 'splendid' was invented to describe this car.

I want one.

Want to love this but the head on shot looks like a car pushing a lawn roller.

Each to their own - I always admired the Aeromax for taking a different path. Makes a Ferrari look bland without the shouty "look at me" that a Lamborghini reflects.

It must create some fairly terrifying lift behind that arch, true.

Don't care. hehe
