If they put gullwings doors all the way down the sides, it's gonna take some VERY strong beams in the floor to stop it bending like a banana, and dragging it's belly along the ground. Rob, a stress engineer bloke..............cool

Attention must be paid to the seating inside the limo... coz if the fat birds sit on one side, it may have an impact to the weight distribution of the car while cornering.

Doesn't look like it's actually built does it?

On the 360 what happens with the engine and gearbox - still at the back of the car I assume? Perhaps they used the f1 version so it's just a matter of making wires longer.

This might help with your questions, http://www.ferrarilimo.co.uk/

Personally I like the engineering skills. At least they're using interesting cars now, rather than Cadillac's.!!

That is just so wrong on so many fronts.

Should find a few clients in Dubai though I guess.

Actually I think the R8 has to be one of the worse options for stretching a mid engine super car.

Some of the Ferraris and Lambos actually look quite cool when stretched because they have low pointed noses and large hunched rear quarters then net effect is to produce something that has a certain aerospace effect about it.

The issue with the R8 is that it essentially has the bluff grill of a regular Audi integrated with the supercar body. Stretch that and you just end up with a car that looks like an oddly proportioned Audi A4.
