Not exactly an exotic location, but it doesn't handle the snow too well. My elise is fantastic in the snow at least until it turns into a sled but the europa does not do too well at all.

I'm thinking you might need a new roof on your garage hehe

Snow has turned into solid ice... Might take a bit of work to clear!

Solid ice on mine, the only way to remove it would be with a chisel!
Same with mine. Brushed off what I could.

I drove an Amazon when I worked in Norway in the 80's. Lovely car.... maybe one day. I have one empty garage that needs filling.

Trouble with parts, rust etc? (I'm right next to the sea, so if it'll rust, it'll do so here).

As with any old car Amazon's can and do rust... not that much though! Mine has some bubbling on the door bottoms which I'm gonna get sorted in early 2015 but underneath it's as solid as a rock - had a new outrigger welded in this year and that's only welding it's ever had to the best of my knowledge. Not bad for a daily driver that lives outside. Just about the only thing that will kill 'em is leaking front and rear screen seals.

Get a LOT of rust proofing under there and you'd be ok (I use Bilt Hamber products). The factory underseal was excellent but as its getting on for 44 years old extra protection won't hurt.

99% of parts are obtainable within 24 hours, or if you order from specialists on the Continent it'll take 3 days.

Great cars and I can't recommend them enough... don't think I'll ever sell mine.

I paid the price for not clearing the ice off the car. I opened the boot, and a big lump fell off the boot lid, onto the back window, then slid down and smashed to smithereens inside the boot. Had to take the carpet out and shake it, not easy since there's an exhaust back box I've not got round to taking out yet. This was all in Tesco car park getmecoat

Going to have similar fun tomorrow - forecast for 5C and rain, so between the melting snow and new rain on the ice it's going to be as slippery as anything. It took a bit of time to clear the car this evening!
