Doesnt that sound a lot of fun, quite fancy one of these but when I first saw one in the flesh I thought it looked tiny, just expected it to be bigger, must be the Range Rover name I suppose!

What's with the god-awful HDR photos? C'mon, sort it out PH.

I have a red 3 door Si4. I'm absolutely delighted with it and I say that with a 997.2 turbo, an F355 and an SL55 AMG in my garage, oh, and an Impreza Wagon as well. It's a car which exudes a feel-good factor, is great fun to live with and was very capable when the snow arrived. Some say it's expensive but it's not if you look at the kit which comes as standard. Of course there are some things which could be improved but for now, I'm really enjoying it.

Like others on this I have never been a 4x4 fan but this does look great in the Photo's and on the road..........and its British ( well built at least)

Seen quite a few kicking about now Banbury/Oxford area. The three door gets my vote, looks so much more striking.

Nice fun write up, but lets be honest with ourselves. Put a half decent driver in the 330i and the Evoque simply wouldn't see which way it had gone.............

Impressive for a 2 tonne SUV, Yes. A performance car, No. ;-)
1.6 tonne I think it is....

He is really motoring down this section. It reminds me of the difference between a good motocross rider and a great one... The good one uses full throttle up hill...

Just finished a test week in a SD4 Coupé Dynamic. What a machine.

Made me feel good like no other car has, well, since the first day I got my license.

When I picked it up from the dealer I just sat there clapping my hands like an idiot and grinning all the way back. What a special, special thing indeed.

I only know 1 person with one of these thusfar, and curiously it's been stuck on his drive since he got it.

When I jokingly asked if it had broken-down he said "no, it's the wife's car and she won't drive it".

She had an RRS before and loved it - but she thinks the Evoque doesn't have the same 'presence' (read that as she doesn't think she looks as rich in it) and so she's ignoring it.

Ironic as it's currently the ONLY one around here and would stand out next to a fair number of RRS's (even the local drug dealer has one of those - in chrome orange with chrome everything!!)
