RE: Time for Tea? Why the Honda NSX is brilliant...
Monday 6th February 2012
Screaming VTEC V6. Deft handling balance partly developed by one A. Senna. Two delicious 'R' versions. A star-studded motorsport career, including a class win at Le Mans. The fact that it 'took the fight' to established European sports car rivals.
Time for Tea? Why the Honda NSX is brilliant...
...and why we're very glad a new version is on its way for 2015
There are many reasons to get all dribbly over the original Honda NSX, and Honda's Japanese PR machine has very neatly rolled them all up into this single video package.
Of course, there's a very specific reason for Honda to do this that goes beyond mere 'wasn't the NSX cool' nostalgia - and that's the fact that an all-new hi-tech NSX is due in 2015.
Honda is obviously very excited about this, providing at the end of this video a computer driving sim-esque foretaste of what to expect when the real thing finally does arrive. We can't wait...

They are fantastic cars, the only one I have ever seen on the road was filling the mirrors of my 182 on the motorway last year, being followed by an E46 M3 CS or CSL. It looked and sounded brilliant.
I would love one if they weren't so expensive and you can't find the 2002- Type R's anywhere.

Can..not...wait!
Looks sexy as hell, should go round corners like nothing else thanks to it's super handling AWD and is certain to have a great engine as that's Honda's speciality. Add to that Japanese build quality and reliability and you can be sure that this car is going to be one special car!
Hopefully they can market it at around the £75k mark, i.e. around GTR territory, and undercut the exotics too.

My best friend had both the NSX-R which was for sale here previously (loads of comments within the topics from me there commenting on the car and how it drove etc)

As well as also having an NA2 3.2 2004 In Dark Blue (as in the pic for this topic)
I can honestly say I have driven many cars and nothing compares pound for pound.
The NSX-R was like nothing else, so perfect in so many ways and the NA2 he has again was amazing imo.
I perfonally am not too keen on the look of the new NSX but hope it will be as expected.
One car I did like which I have saw in Urban camo and matt black paint effect ont he way to the ring for testing was the Honda HSV Race Car which looked and sounded amazing.
