Is that red one right at the start running on those wet weather road tyres with the huge groove down the middle? Did they ever catch on? I don't think I've ever seen one of those in the flesh.

Oh the nostalgia of that eerie music, I was expecting the GT3 opening when the starts up and 'Just A Day' comes in over the top biggrin

I know, Seen it, love it, but weirdly I enjoy the video I posted, although most people will say it's boring and has very little to do with the car itself.

its not often you can say I'd rather have the equivalent honda compared to the ferrari of its time, but this wins hands down

Such a charismatic car the NSX, in terms of styling almost perfectly weighted I think. Not too much, not too little.

Not as fond of how the new one looks but from the vid seems to work in a very interesting way.
2015 is a v.long way away though.

Though it is undoubtedly a small market there are cars out there. I posted a wanted ad on the nsxcb website last summer and had found a car within a couple of months. Nice people there, very helpful and a fount of knowledge on matters NSX.

Not a big fan of the looks of the new one, like most new "supercars". But the way it works, from the video, is very interesting. 2015 is a very long way away though.

These have long been my favourite 'sports car'. Everything is just so right about them. Most admirable, perhaps, is their relatively low power meaning they can be enjoyed on the road.
How about an elise?...........everything is even more so right

It's certainly a striking looking car and I'd love to be able to have a drive in one, but this is going to fly in the face of PH received wisdom, I've never 'got' the NSX - as in I've never felt any desire for one - especially at the price they are now. How many people here have actually had one? I'm sure they're great, but for those few who have experience, can you describe why you chose it and what it's like to live with. Not a dig at it, just very curious

TO answer the previous respondant, why the NSX is significant is that it was the first supercar your granny could drive, that could be serviced as easily as a Civic, was reliable, functional, could be driven on the limit without trouble and yet had all the usual supercar benefits. It was the car that made Ferrari actually try hard with the sublime 355 and influenced Gordon Murray with the F1. What more can you say?

A nice little playlist of NSX's. Some seriously nice sounding motors here:

At around 6:45 in the video are they saying the hybrid stuff regenerates during cornering, a bit like the Mclaren mp4-12c's brake-steer, but with added charging. That's pretty clever.

I love the NSX but that video is really poor.

Strange editing decisions, strange shots and no real reasoning for why things are ordered the way they are.

Odd.
Almost every car video appear to be the same string of moodily-lit cliches with an inane beat music overdub; but that one is quite remarkably bad to watch.

To all car video clip makers; if it's anything like this, don't bother.
