The Best ///M/Barge/General Rant/Look at This/O/T [Vol VIII]
Discussion
It's a DC2 integra type R.
It was traded in at a Porsche specialist against a 911 last year. The salesman is a bit like Loon and decided as it had full Honda history he'd keep it a while - spruce it up and sell on, but never got round to it Ergo it has only been moved around the barn and taken home on trade plates every now and then.
Yes I drove it back without tax. Worth the risk of a fine IMO as it would of cost at least £50 in fuel to go back and collect after it'd been taxed. It flew through the MOT with just tyres as advisories and is all insured so no big deal really!

If you traded the Civic against it as a straight swap or even near it must be one of the best DC2s in the country. Ones that I saw around the £6k mark had sub 50k miles and led garaged lives with covers etc.
No where near swap! I've got more than 3 grand in my pocket Gruber said:
Excellent engine, good looking car. And they seem to be pretty good value. Surprisingly practical as well.
In other news... Here's the new snotter:
No garage queen and certainly no show winner, but it goes ok, looks ok and is very, very, very brown inside. Brown plastics, brown carpet and brown velour. All different shades, obv.
Remarkably good fun to punt around.

Just picked up a copy of AutoRetro and think it may be me in magazine format. 924S vs GTV6, Corvette ZR-1, Thema 8.32, 20k km in a 928, 230SL Pagoda. Only issue is that my French is practically non-existent, so I can't read it.

Sadly my German is probably worse than your French.

Ah good! And by the sounds of it a pretty good Teg too - get some pics up!
Indeed. The ITRs are neat weapons; get some pics up Always fancied one although never had the experience. Something very right about them.
Needs the cambelt, 2 tyres and possibly 2 tiny spots of rust. (rear arches already been replaced last year, however the sills were left) I only ventured into the Vtec zone once on the way home, its properly laugh out loud, a bigger shove in the back than the turbo on the S3 and it only happens at 6000+ Rpm on the way to the 8600 red line. Mad car. Not for the motorway commute, 70MPH is 4000RPM which with no sound deadening is unbelievably loud.
Excuse the crappy Iphone Pics no point doing decent ones until its properly clean. Anyway, here she is:
Seats arent orange, its just the Phone. Although bolster on the drivers side is as fked as it looks

Graham - new steed looks great, definitely something special about an ITR.
Having not found anything that I'll be entirely satisfied with at the top of my budget, I'm now looking at bargain basement fun.
What price brackets are you looking at Jonny?Having not found anything that I'll be entirely satisfied with at the top of my budget, I'm now looking at bargain basement fun.
Still open to all manner of ideas.

Yet practical, (4 seater) drop down rear seats + large boot. Cheap to run, cheap to insure.
