Not sure quite how they've managed to make the front so unspeakably disgusting, especially given how right they got the 6 series looking. Other than that it seems like more of the same, no bad thing I suppose. Lovely interior (aside of Riggers' detritus of course).
amazing isn't it how people see things differently. we have people saying the new M6 looks exactly like a 3 series, and another saying the complete opposite.interesting, is all. i don't think either are fantastic looking but prefer the 6, but both appear to be mighty good machines.

You can definitely see they're related which is fine, it's just that one looks like it's carrying an extra chromosome and the other is a supermodel.

That read a bit like an advertorial. Jealous of your job though.
Like I said at the end of the blog - proper review on its way. Promise there will be some criticism Raises an interesting (totally off-topic) question though. What would you do if you were reviewing a 'perfect' car to make the review seem balanced?

Although, if I did, perhaps I'd approach it the way Autocar did in its 1996 road test of the E39 528i:
http://www.autocar.co.uk/CarReviews/RoadTestsHisto...
I seen to remember Autocar doing 10000 miles round the M25 in some sort of bizarre relay run to test the then new Ford Focus.
Can't remember how many drivers they used though?
Regardless, 13 hours in the seat is a chore even in such a nice car. Why is it we need to stuff our faces so much on a long drive too? I can manage a 12 hour shift on a coffee and a bun but put me behind the wheel of a car and i'm ravenous after a couple of hours - weird!

readiness. We all know, that a 6 Zylinder 3 series is a great tool for the winding
road.
But how does the F30 compare to the E90 and the competition? How does the electric
steering work or play up? What about the autobox and the new navigation?
AND the head up display is not a "class first", even if BMW is touting it. Hell, you
are the journalist. Go do your homework first!

THAT was not an advertorial. That was the news. Riggers said:
Aye, but that does include at least 250 miles off the motorway (Perpignan to Foix is a particularly lovely stretch for those who are Google Maps inclined... )
Have to agree about Perpgnan to Foix. It was spectacular and great fun when I did it about 18 years ago in an original Renault Twingo!Martin 480 Turbo said:

If they can write something that doesn't say much and call it news then they do. Thats the industry. jreadiness. We all know, that a 6 Zylinder 3 series is a great tool for the winding
