RE: New Audi RS4: revealed

If Audi is looking for inspiration to avoid RS5 style criticisms it could do worse than use the old RS4 as a blueprint. But then, why not just buy one of them instead? Looking at the specs it's surprising how close the old car runs the new one, being just 30hp down and a tenth slower to 62mph. And there was a manual version. Good ones are still making strong money - as much as £30K - and a quick browse of the classifieds reveals a plentiful supply.
Can't disagree with this comment at all - are next generation models that much better these days?
Better dynamics, less drag than the old version. Can't disagree with this comment at all - are next generation models that much better these days?
Had an RS6 for a while, and it was the pits - largely due to the unbelievably rubbish DRC. I had heard rumours of similar problems with the old RS4 and reputed fixes, and was wondering whether the new DRC actually works or whether we should expect the suspension to blow up and bills of many thousands of pounds once the warranty has expired....
Audi have always made fairly subtle performance cars; I fail to understand why some people haven't yet noticed this!
I love the look personally, I'll have mine in Sepang with Titanium rotors please.
Audi were making noises about dynamic improvements for the 2012 facelift RS5 that I've not yet read anything more on but I assume they have taken the same approach to this.
