If Ferrari get close to the mark this could be utterly awesome as the last V12 Prancing horse using the Enzo name this should be the car of the century....
Talking of which, can Mclaren better the F1 ? if they are touting a £1M 'successor' Its going to have to be completely spectacular, can they do it ?

But I applaud them for thinking f k it, let's give it 920bhp, to hell with giving up on the power wars. Fair play Ferrari. Agree with you in regards to the California but I think the 458 and FF look amazing - esp in the metal. FF looks so so in mags but when you see one on the road it looks super, as does the 458. I can’t see Ferrari screwing up the new Enzo. The last one, even though it’s ancient and it’s styling divided opinion when it was new, still looks totally amazing and relatively modern and has stood the test of time very well… A few people are saying the Enzo's looks have fared well over time. I still think the car is straight out very ugly, but I think there are a lot more supercars these days that look like race cars so its shape isn't unusual AND ugly these days, but just ugly. Each to their own but personally I think looks amazing. For ugly see Bugatti Veyron - big, fat gypsy supercar

Im in partial agreement with feeling a lack of excitement here, even though its looking to be a bonkers car and it should be ticking all the boxes.
Maybe its got to the point now where supercars and hypercars are becoming so fast, nimble and generally technologically efficient that some of us are becoming numb to their progression? Although obviously all the markers keep dropping on spec figures, lap times and so on, in my mind at least its accepted by enthusiasts that its pretty meaningless in the real world. With cars like the Veyron fighting for a top speed record which can only be achieved on one privately owned loop, yet idolised by your average Joe for its credentials and areas that used to belong to enthusiasts ruined by their saturation brought by games and the lads at Top Gear, Im starting to think cars like this dont really have much to give to the enthusiast anymore. Only to the super rich for collections, and for people to gawp at in the car section in Nuts magazine.
I may be off the mark but thats how I feel about it all, first when the 458 and 12C went head to head. They both have their plus points but overall seemed so electronic I couldnt work out which I preffered. Im aware that these are still likely to be great drivers cars but without driving them it doesnt seem like you can have much idea atall of how they drive. With the way things are going surely it wont be soon before cars are so powerful, well specced and electronically reigned even driving it wont give you an idea. Feel, foibles and character will be gone. With cars this powerful I really dont see how its not going to be 95% numbers within a decade.
Im not knocking progression of course, only that although generations of enthusiasts have always stayed back with their era of cars, the next generations will be making decisions based on the numbers and nothing else as the tech filters down and eco policies tighten. Which is a shame.

I'm still amazed at how well the old Enzo has aged over the years, it's still looks contemporary in todays world.

Is this still on course to be significantly smaller than the Enzo? That was a big thing about the MileyKylie show car, much shorter wheel base and lower.

Ferrari have long been working on a project title 'millechili'. Translated to English meaning 1000 kilos. It would seem this weight objective was for what we now discuss, the Enzo replacement. Sounds like an F40 fo the 21st century, great

Hmm a normally aspirated 800+bhp V12. TVR built one of those in a garden shed about 12 years ago.
