Best of four. Co-incidently, the Audi Quattro mentioned on the previous page was one of my options too.

Here, I've gone for something vaguely sensible (unlike me) rather than a tired old Beemer/Merc, yes it's a GTI. On an '03, "Showroom condition", 1 lady owner for what it's worth, sub 100k mileage...

redcard

That isn't a 180.

I feel dirty admitting this but that doesn't have the wheels, badging or seats from a 180.
I just checked the reg, said it's a red GTI 180.

Only 13 to choose from, blame myself for living in deepest Lincolnshire!

Of the 13 8 are for sale by the same dealer! Seems they have cornered the sub bag o' sand market in and around Sleaford.

After much deliberation this (sadly) shone the brightest.

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/search/used/cars/postc...

Doing the same from work brings up a few more cars (103 to be precise) but the quality is just as bad.

Pick of the bunch IMO.

You can get a lot of (possibly very crap) car for a grand!
Thats cheap!! Looks like someone very fat has been sitting in the passenger seat.
I'm tempted to have that, nick the roof for my one (it's in much nicer condition), clean it up and flog it again!

I figured that was how AT got the car data but it has none of the 180 bits. Proceed with care!

It stems from the utter inability to use the English language that some folk have.

O/T but I find it hilarious AutoTrader put your postcode in the URL.

Pretty much gives your location away along with your My Garage if up to date.

Ignore the tinfoil hat brigade, chap.

You can always edit the AT link if you're particularly paranoid, all you need to link to an ad is the following part of the URL:

There is an early E38 730i V8, in recession white, but I think my money would actually go here:

It only gives it if you don't delete it. I'm not sure I'm that worried about people popping round my house to try and steal a cheap shed though, but I don't want G knowing where I live either.

I'm surprised at the number of dealers advertising these bottom-feeders on AT? I thought this would mainly be private sale territory.

If the dealers are advertising them for under a grand, what are they buying them for?

For £1000 I'd like this although I have a few questions about it.

Now, playing the game...

(491 to choose from)

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2012...

In fact, I actually just called the seller and its sold so...

In 2nd place...

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2012...

Short on detail but probably worth a punt at that money.
