What you get, for less than 400 pounds, is a car approaching 30 years old in the coolest retro colour. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2012... You beat me in posting this by 23 minutes. I posted it in the £500 challenge thread. As you said in the other place, I'm not sure it really qualifies in either thread in view of the work it needs. Nevertheless, a real gem.

It's Friday! Right, we've got an extra day to find the car for our ficticious journey to work next Tuesday. And I think I've found my best one yet! Just £475! Leaves me £525 to throw at coke and hookers over the Bank Holiday weekend

Not sure why I'm bothering this week as there's no chance of me beating that lovely Alfa or the sublime W126, but here goes nothing... If it's not borked (and the aftermarket boost gauge completely fills me with confidence) then this is some car for the money. http://www2.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201...

I simply didn't read the ad which, and Olly cannot do anything but support the contention, actually awards me additional man-points. Real men, buying cheap cars (in fact, any cars), don't read the ad and don't inspect before handing over the readies. And anyway, I've got an extra day this weekend to get it roadworthy
