I love it, I want it, might go and ask my dealership if I can put down a deposit now.

Was the Range Rover Evoque inspired by this Fisher Price Mustang?

What a load of gloom here! I think its great. It'll sell by the shedload. And it'll still do just what a Land Rover is expected to do.

It looks better than the idea suggests. I concur with a lot of people, it will sell like the proverbial hot cakes.

Which is a good thing, is it not?

Shame they didn't abandon the rear seats and go full on off-road sports car. Still find myself wanting it anyhow. I suspect there's something wrong with me.

The very quintessence of Chav!..the sad fact is it will be extremely popular in contemporary British 'culture' and will be a huge sales success, particularly In 'look at me white' to footballer/wag wannabes..I don't think it is the car per se that offends, more the RR handle. Why could it not simply be known as the Evoque? Because using the RR tag allows JLR to significantly up the price point. The flip side of this coin is a lessening of the perceived exclusivity of the flagship model

..as a proper RR owner (and long time LR fan) I feel somewhat disenfranchised by the direction of JLR and await with trepidation the new Defender

It will give us a whole new genre of people to dislike.
I don't understand people who want to put themselves on show like an ornament on a shelf. Just give me a sunroof and I'm happy.
