A TR7 isn't a bad suggestion. Even decent ones seem to be pretty cheap at the moment, so £750 wouldn't imply it was hopelessly below the normal standard (whatever that is for TR7s ).

In the advert it says the car was resprayed and on top gear - you don't suppose then it is the red Elan that Hammond drove as the roof+interior on that were knackered.
