So I've recently received an email from a fellow PHer, who is having problems with their MX5, and found this 2 year old post! I am still very happy with Max, it was a long battle but we got there.. My advice to the person who emailed me would be to stick with the contact you have and also engage with MazdaPR on Twitter. Good Luck! I hope you get a satisfactory outcome. Despite everything, I'd still recommend the MX5
