Epic drive. Top down or up, when you're on a one-up mission like that earplugs can add another dimension to the ride. You really don't miss anything (including your tunes; just turn it up a bit) the but the lack of background/white noise can help you focus on driving and the 'interesting' sounds.

I might give that a go.

Actually the worst bit from that score was the tyre roar on the concrete section of the M25 from around Junc 8/9. Horrible!

Stereo pitiful too. But there's a better one under the bonnet!

Cheers!

Looks stunning!

I'd love to have a go in one of those - but I'd probably crash it...

Looks wonderful, and no doubt it goes well. I do believe it could do with a few more rampant horses under the bonnet though. My last 'toy' was 1100kg, wet...with me in it. 430bhp made it rather brisk.

Yep, this Morgan needs more 'go' to match the 'show.

WUSS!

Real boys drive without the windows on.

I did Milan to home in mine last Spring in one shot, with no roof and windows. Deaf for the following three days...

Keep those roads a secret. This is my favourite area, the roads are fabulous in Franche Comte particularly those from Vallorbe to Poligny. Testing, deserted, relatively gendarme-free, and in beautiful scenery. To cap it all you can make (very) good progress all the way back to Champagne-Ardennes by taking N-roads (now D) that shadow the autoroutes and save a pot of Euros.
O/T Did you buy some cheese at the fromagerie? Morbier with a layer of ash in it is historic, come to think of it all Jura cheese (including the sublime Mont d'Or) takes some beating.

Does anyone know if they have made this bigger in the footwell? It's so ridiculously cramped in the Roadster that anyone with size 12's can't drive one. Even in bare feet I cant drive one.

Been waiting for the V8 to come back but the b*stards still won't make one I fit in. Grrr. wink
