Don't forget kids, if you're VAT registered, it's only 40k wink

Another point to note is that nobody has yet mentionned what kind of secondhand abused supercar one can buy for the same money. Pistonhead whingers must be having a day off.
No need at that price. A new 5.0 Mustang GT is less, maybe even stretch to a Boss though no VAT benefits (unless you class the 2 seater Laguna Seca as a "van" wink

I'm not a fan of many Vauxhalls but I give them so much respect for having the balls to sell this over here. Ford have long refused to make even a fast Fiesta, yet meanwhile VX division have brought rebodied Lotus Elises and 400bhp+ V8 super saloons to your local dealer!

The Monaro and early VXR8s were bargains for the performance, shame the prices have started getting a bit silly now though.

Ute's are everywhere here, (in Aus) most are 'normal' stuff, (think toyota tray-backs etc), the car derived stuff is pretty common,

the HSV stuff is kind of like 'aspirational' cars from the range, the lesser 'cooking' models are everywhere here, people use them like we do everyday cars (there are some with 4 doors).

other point is that they are REALLY cheap here relative to anything considered 'interesting' in UK terms

for example, for the $50K they are here, compared to a boring BMW 530D at $115k start price...

That's really ugly. I liked the previous one.
Agree with whoever it was said it looks a bit like a Renault Wind.

Would much rather have one of these proper pick-ups for considerably less money.

Even though it's not that much different from the old one, I think it looks horrible in comparison. Those wheels especially, they're absolutely awful!

I love the old Maloo, but the styling on this is just vulgar. And not a good kind of vulgar. frown Perhaps I'll grow to like it over time.

Oooh I dont like the back very much, (I dont have photoshop, so here an effort from Paint)

I know its a poor effort, but in 2 minutes just to get an idea of how I think it should be. More 'Pick-up' like.

Wheels...wk. Exhausts...wk. All swappable though and, once done to your taste, I think you've got one of the coolest, most ridiculously unnecessary vehicles available thumbup

Thankfully, given Vauxhall's residual history, you'll be able to grab one for 25k in 12-18 months...
