That is very very very mentally fast.

Why not Bruntingthorpe?

Or even better - Ehra-Lessien (although I can't imagine VAG wanting their Veyron performance times eclipsed by a Nissan built in Telford...)

TBH, it doesn't look like the Hulk has been aerodynamically optimised purely for top speed - I'm pretty sure with a streamliner body, it would go a lot faster than 218, although probably not in a mile

Surely this needs an entry to TOTB?

So does this thing run tesco 95 or does it need the expensive 99 stuff?

We also took one of their team in the HULK to give him a feel of the acceleration of the beast. John was shaking even on Monday LOL
I don't think I was, "shaking on Monday” but it was certainly the fastest vehicle I've ever been out in! The acceleration was mind blowing to say the least. I’ve never experienced anything like it. There’s nothing better than being smashed in to a seat by 1200 bhp! biggrin

We'll have to keep a close eye on how AMS do.

Fantastic bit of footage. It would be great if a drag race could have been arranged with a Veyron side by side. Facts and figures are great, but the old adage of "a picture/video paints a thousand words", speaks volumes in these circumstances.

Tall order, I know.......

Impressive stuff. Why did Bugatti have so many issues with the Veyron and cooling when a tuner in Telford can get bigger bhp figures? confused
Engine position. Front v Mid. It's notoriously difficult to cool a large engine with little airflow.

Awesome engineering to an already amazing vehicle.

What sort of costs are involved in this?

Also have you got some spec list.

Look forward to seeing a dry run and further videos! Keep them coming! biggrin

Fastest in the world??? There's a 1600+hp GTR out somewhere... 400hp more should make a small difference.

AMS something, I'll look it up later....

Already been mentioned and as of yet it hasn't done a top speed tun at that power level, only 1/4 mile runs.

Hi all,

I will try and get a Spec of the car up later this week for you all to see.

We have had the pleasure of dealing with some of the finest manufacturers of tuning products and this project has been very hard work over the last 12 months. A lot of the parts on the "Hulk" are bespoke and taken time to perfect.

We know AMS run alot more power so expect them to do well this weekend, but records are set to be broken, as long as we have the determination we will try and keep it in the UK for as long as we can !

Thank you all once again for your comments

Regards

Curious to see the details on the box, is it a PPG one?

To go very fast and advertise the company who owns and built it. Why does it need anything more reason to exist than that? It's fun.
