Still obsessing about that 500 Abarth today. Had another look at insurance and by the time I'm 20 it would half again - £95/month - coupled together with the £277/month finance price and I'd have a pretty cheap hot hatch. The fuel consumption is pretty good too. This really isn't helping my obsession. laugh
No you don't. What you have is 372 per month leaving your bank account.
Before a year is up, thats 4000 pounds.

Can I ask, do you work or study? Any plans on travelling?

Probably a dumb question, but I have never owned anything heavily modified... How do you service those things? I'm assuming you need to be handy with the toolbox if you're going to have one?

I have always dreamed of a GT-R R34 by Mine's.

I think everyone has dreams and aspirations. If he has a goal, let him have it. It is not a silly or unattainable goal either, he may need to make some sacrifices but isn't that part of bieng a petrolhead. Driving the car of your dreams...

<jealous mode> What's the weather going to be like in that part of Malaysia? All I keep hearing for there is RAIN!, more RAIN!, strong WINDS! and possibly a MONSOON! to dampen things off a bit more... </jealous mode>
tongue outhehe

Really hope the weather is good and hope you enjoy your time yes.

Gorgeous. I'm not sure what most bikists think, but to me the Daytona is the prettiest of bikes, certainly the bike I'd want if I ever make up my mind to get a bike licence.

Meanwhile back to my 4 wheel lusting of the moment, the Mustang ASC Dominator. Perhaps could do with some different wheels though

I currently study, £372/month or £4000/year at 20 years of age doesn't seem like a lot really? I spend around half that a month right now at 14 years old.

You can't control what you want smile I don't know how much they go for, and TBH a totally stock GT-R R34 would make me super happy too!

What do you spend so much money on at 14? hehe

I'm in Uni turning 21 next month, and I don't spend that much. Barely have time to spend money right now with the workload.

I Watched a programme about British sports cars on BBC4 last week , and one of the cars was a car I had a picture of in a car book as a child in the early '70s , and i loved it. Had a bimble along the B660 yesterday evening, in the S2000 with the top down , and couldn't help but think how nice it would be in an Austin-Healey 100-6.
