So what car have you been obsessing about today?? (Vol 2)

Likewise- see my few posts above. I've been investigating...
If you suddenly find £25k down the back of the sofa, just be aware that the Adaptive Chassis Control that used to be standard on all models is now relegated to the options list, though leather's now standard. What the VAG giveth, the VAG taketh away.
It'll be a while before I have the readies for a second hand one that hasn't done interstellar miles but I've got a plan now (and a couple of alternative cars to consider.) In the unlikely event that some mad millionaire wants to give me a new one though, I'll have one in Dark Oak metallic with Cornsilk 2 tone leather please. It looks horrible on the car configurator website but awesome in the metal.
Looks like it's still standard on the GT - my weapon of choice. I know the 1.4 TSi it was always only optional - have they done that on the rest of the standard range now I wonder? If you suddenly find £25k down the back of the sofa, just be aware that the Adaptive Chassis Control that used to be standard on all models is now relegated to the options list, though leather's now standard. For me it'll be a Bluemotion Tech 2.0TDi DSG, in white, with a panoramic roof, DAB, cruise control, parking sensors, winter pack, xenons and folding mirrors thankyouplease...

Yes, you're right- the GT still has it. It's now optional on all the standard cars. Sorry for the ambiguity. For me it'll be a Bluemotion Tech 2.0TDi DSG, in white, with a panoramic roof, DAB, cruise control, parking sensors, winter pack, xenons and folding mirrors thankyouplease...
I like the idea of a DSG. I'm keen to try something significantly different from my Occy vRS; a DSG box would help that shift to VW. (No pun intended!)
I think the Candy White is awesome too.
Today I'm trying very hard to resist making an offer on a Viper mamba edition, which until yesterday I never even knew existed, but now I want it, despite the fact they're pretty small inside and I'm a pretty hefty guy.
A well fettled camaro (67 I think).

+1 What is it?Right, this is getting scary.
I've just moved to the country and absolutely loving my 15 minute dash across the lanes and back in my XKR to Stansted for my commute to work. I obsoletely love the car to bits.
However, considering next winter, and the impractically of both me and my missus having Coupes, my mind has started wandering to.......
Discoveries and 4WD Volvo Estates. Gulp !! And not just as an extra car, I'm looking at nice ones, as a replacement to my car!! I even found myself reading a thread comparing V60 to V70.
It's been a couple of decades since I had a "normal" car and maybe this is the time to try and see just how bored I get with it, or whether I'd be happy with average performance, but lots of nice toys.
Help me people !!!

Get an original Panda 4x4. "Off Roaders" on wide tyres are as useless as any two wheel drive car on snow. I've just moved to the country and absolutely loving my 15 minute dash across the lanes and back in my XKR to Stansted for my commute to work. I obsoletely love the car to bits.
